Genki has been a favorite spot in Buckhead since they opened right before the Olympics in 1996. Now with an additional location at the Prado, sushi lovers from all over Atlanta are enjoying their fare. The atmosphere is hip yet warm, and is a perfect place to grab lunch, enjoy dinner, or start your night out with friends. Whether you are a sushi fanatic, a sushi novice, or a vegetarian, Genki has something for everyone.
Diners will find the food excellent, the service friendly, and the affordability of Genki`s prices well within their budget. Genki creates a wide variety of traditionally elegant sushi and sashimi using only the freshest ingredients.
Most notably, they offer a wide selection of signature rolls, including the Dragon, the Falcon, and the Deal Squad`s favorite, the Reid Roll (Spicy chopped salmon and lettuce roll topped with seared Angus filet and avocado topped with spicy garlic sauce-YUMMY). Genki also offers a variety of traditional and nuevo Japanese cuisines, including over sized noodle bowls, tuna specialties (the Ahi Poke is the best in Atlanta hands down), and a great $5 kid`s menu. Genki`s bartenders also serve up a tasty variety of mixed drinks from martinis to sake bombs. There truly is something for everyone at Genki.
Its also important to mention that as a fixture in the Atlanta community since 1996, Genki has given over $2,000,000 to charities and organizations including schools, youth programs, nonprofit organizations and various charities. Way to go Genki!
