The Schmooze is a monthly networking event focused on fostering relationships between professionals primarily in the hospitality and related service industries. Each month The Schmooze takes place in one of Atlanta's hottest establishments. Join us as we gather to mix, mingle and sample some of Atlanta's finest food and beverages.

In the beginning…

In 1996 Kenneth Jones of dynami found himself constantly making links - linking people to places and to each other. With his vast personal relationships in Atlanta, he realized the time had come to start linking all he knew. Disheartened by the lack of networking events specifically directed to those in Atlanta's ever-expanding hospitality and service industries, Jones decided to take matters into his own hands. What he came up with, he called The Schmooze - literally meaning, networking, making contacts and meeting people.

Schmooze's already growing success began to take on new life when Jones decided to link up with Suzanne Shaw Cashin of PennHouse Productions. Having spent more than 15 years in sales and marketing for Atlanta's premier hotels, restaurants and nightlife venues, Cashin certainly has had her finger on the pulse of what is new and hot in this city. Now that Schmooze involves the talents of both Jones and Cashin, each event promises nothing but the highest quality in venue, food and guest list.

What's new…
With the new partnership, The Schmooze is also poised for expansion. Along with Schmooze events, together Jones and Cashin now offer selected Schmooze-Sanctioned events. Clients are able to enlist the services of The Schmooze to create email campaigns, which may include private sends to The Schmooze's vast list of contacts or inclusion on The Schmooze newsletter. Additionally, The Schmooze can design and implement more complete marketing strategies including developing online resources, promotions, publicity and advertising recommendations.
