Downtown got lucky with the opening of LUCKIE Food Lounge, featuring 2,200 gallons of salt water in three aquariums, including a 28-foot aquarium that impressively adorns the sushi bar and seven miles of LED lighting.

Located next to the Georgia Aquarium, LUCKIE is complimented by CHARM, an adjacent gourmet sundry shop and magazine loft, selling sandwiches, 18 flavors of homemade gelato, coffee, pastries, sushi-to-go and LUCKIE merchandise.

At LUCKIE Food Lounge, diners can expect consistency and quality in the kitchen combined with a charged atmosphere creating a truly unique and scintillating dining experience. With 350 seats, expansive aquariums, a stage for live music, 80 integrated speakers and plasma and LCD screens throughout, a full DJ audio/visual/lighting effects control booth and an interactive bar, LUCKIE is the ultimate stop for all things food, fun and excitement.

LUCKIE Food Lounge serves cuisine inspired by everything that is deemed American, inclusive of sushi. The menu includes salads, brick-oven pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, chops, braises and other classic specialties. Prices range from $10 - $16 for burgers and sandwiches, pizzas and salads from $8 - $16 and $13 - $27 for steaks and specialties.

A spectacular sushi bar, accented by mother-of-pearl inlays, river stone walls, curved bamboo ceilings and motion-sensor pendant lighting, has a variety of innovative rolls and sashimi with fresh fish flown in daily. Also located at LUCKIE will be PLAY - a private, members-only roof-top lounge set to open fall 2007.
